Good News! WE ARE MOVING from the School and into a new venue as from January 2010. The new venue is MADGINFORD HALL, EGREMONT ROAD, BEARSTED, MAIDSTONE KENT ME15 8LH - a map is printed at the end of this Programme for your benefit. We are able to have the Hall exclusively for the evening and have, therefore, decided to RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL MEETING TIME OF 8pm – 10pm, which gives people who are at work a little more time to get to us. Madginford Hall is modern, has many amenities, and is ideal for us and easily reached with plenty of parking. Do come along and join us.
The Healing and Meditation Mornings, Workshops and Monthly Development Groups will still be held at TOVIL WORKING MEN’S CLUB, LOWER HALL, TOVIL HILL, MAIDSTONE ME15 6QS – plenty of parking. There are maps of both venues on the website. We will also be updating our website in the New Year. Further details to follow as we have had to obtain a new website address: www.msdcspirit.co.uk In the meantime the old one will still be running and there will be a link from the old to the new. In order to remain an independently run, proactive Spiritual Development Centre, we have been advised that the membership should be changed to “Friends of” MSDC. All current members will now be known as “Friends” and new supporters will automatically become “Friends”. If you would like to become a Friend, please contact us and we will let you have the necessary form or pick up one from our desk at the meetings. All fees will remain the same for 2010. JANUARY
** Saturday 2nd January – Psychic & Spiritual Development Morning with Medium, PAUL WAYMAN @ Tovil Working Men’s Club. 10am till 1pm - £5 (which includes free tea/coffee and biscuits throughout the morning). Whether you are a newcomer starting to explore your psychic potential, or are more experienced and looking to refine, practice and expand your abilities, the Development Mornings are a good way to both start and continue with your psychic and spiritual development. Everyone has psychic ability and these mornings are an effective way to discover your best way of developing them in a friendly and supportive environment with the emphasis being on:
· Understanding the psychic and spirit worlds and how to connect with them.
· Practical exercises designed to demonstrate what you have learnt (e.g. linking with spirit, readings, etc.).
· The opportunity to challenge and expand yourself if, and when, you are ready to progress further (e.g. one to one readings, platform work, etc.).
· The opportunity for those already developing within circles, etc. to practise your readings on people you have not worked with before, something that can be hard to arrange at times.
· The day is open to everyone with no previous experience assumed or necessary. It is structured to allow everyone to practice and discover all aspects of themselves and their abilities and if it is your first time, be reassured, there are always a number of people who have never attended before so you will never feel like an ‘outsider’ if you are attending alone. You will be made to feel most welcome. Pre-booking is not necessary – simply turn up on the day.

** Saturday 23rd January – COPING WITH STRESS AND YOUR SPIRITUAL SURVIVAL – A WORKSHOP BY PAUL WAYMAN. Stress is something that affects us all at some time in our life, whether it is from work, relationship issues, bereavement, finance, or anything at all that causes anxiety and worry. The effects of this can lead to both physical and psychological problems that can severely affect your quality of life (e.g. 50% of the reasons why people go to the doctor can be directly related to stress including eczema, heart disease, digestive problems, depression, and insomnia). It can also impact greatly on your spirituality and trying to live a more spiritual and enjoyable life. This workshop will help you to cope and manage the impact of stress on your life NOW by providing you with well proven techniques and exercises that will give you instant benefit and will also help your spiritual growth. ** Saturday 8th May –(brought forward from January) - WORKSHOP ON HERBAL MEDICINE with LYNDA JONES BSc(Hons) MNIMH Medical Herbalist. 10am till 4pm. Having told you briefly about herself, Lynda will tell you about the difference between home treatment with herbs and when to consult a professional. She will then introduce you to the use of herbs as medicines, including tasting and contemplation. Mulled juices using traditional herbs will be prepared, including a discussion of herbal properties. After lunch there will be a practical workshop with samples to take away – the making of 2 simple syrups and Ointment. There will then be a break to enjoy the morning’s mulled juices followed by question time and quick tips in the final hour. ** Saturday 22nd May – WORKSHOP with medium, BARBARA ALMOND entitled “ A DAY WITH THE ANGELS”. This workshop has been designed for anyone who wishes to develop more knowledge, and become closer to the angelic kingdom. The day will begin with a very uplifting meditation, we will be practicing special chanting that will lift the vibrations, thus drawing the angels closer to us. You will learn about the function of the Angels both in God’s kingdom and on Earth. There will be a circle formed and the angels will join us. Great healing and peace will be brought on this day, and deep relaxation. Remember the angels are there to serve us on earth and we will learn how to invoke their presence and love. There is an angel for every need. This day will open your mind to a world of wonder. You don’t have to be a Medium/Healer/to join us on this day - you just have to want to enhance your life. ** Sunday 30th May Bank Holiday Sunday - PSYCHIC FAIR at Ditton Community Centre, Kilnbarn Road Ditton Aylesford, Kent ME20 6AH. Doors Open at 12 noon until 5pm. We will have plenty of excellent mediums available for readings (at reasonable prices), Tarot card readers, healers, crystals for sale and other goods, reflexology, reiki healing, aura- photography, Indian Head Massage, cds and books for sale, a raffle, heaps of food and refreshments and much much more.
