Report on Events

Christmas time approaches again, and for our last monthly meeting of the year, Friends of MSDC had a wonderful time together. As usual Cheryl Turtlemoon was our platform Medium, she was bubbly and jolly and gave many messages for Friends in the audience. We had a splendid meditation with Janet. All the candles had been lit in memory of friends and family, and this gave a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you Cheryl and Janet. It would not be the same without you both at our Christmas meeting. Tracy (Carter) catered to all with mince pies, cakes and sausage rolls. It was lovely. So our thanks go to Tracy also who has worked very hard catering at many of our functions during 2011. There was a lovely raffle with many prizes. I do believe all had a great start to their Christmas holiday.
I end the last report of the year by saying many thanks to all and everyone who gave their time freely during the year so that Friends of MSDC can attend many varied events and courses. Marian of course is our main stay and there would not be a group without her, but there are many behind the scenes that help her.
So, Happy Christmas to everyone, A Happy New year, and hopefully we will see you many times during 2012.

EVENING OF MEDIUMSHIP WITH DEBBIE DEAN, OCTOBER 2011

Debbie Dean was our visiting Medium for October. Debbie is a spiritual artist, and an excellent one too. She claims that she is unable to draw but through spirit her hand is guided to draw the face of the relative or friend who comes through from the realms of spirit, for the participant in the audience. She gave many informative messages and to each receiver she gave amazingly accurate portrait. Everyone was very pleased indeed. Debbie has a sense of humour which warms her audience to her. For an additional raffle prize she donated a spirit drawing, and as it happened Marian Reader was the lucky one. Well deserved Marian, thank you for all the work that you continually do for our group of Friends of the MSDC. Many thanks to Debbie for giving us a wonderful evening of clairvoyance and we all look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

REPORT ON THE MEETING ON WEDNESDAY 10TH NOVEMBER 2010 WITH MEDIUM, BRENDA COTTINGHAM.

This meeting was very well attended – in fact we almost ran out of chairs!
Brenda took to the platform and started to bring through evidence straight away. The information she brought through was accurate and her delivery and empathy with the recipients was exceptional. Brenda has been a working medium for a long time and her gift goes back to the Mediums and Healers on her Mother’s side. She has seen Spirit since she was 5. Brenda now works all over the UK and abroad. She has arranged an Evening of Clairvoyance next year on Thursday May 26th at Grove Green Community Centre, behind Tescos. 7.30 – 10pm Entry is £7 on the door. If you would like to see Brenda working again, this is the place to go! She will advertise more details a little nearer the date.

EVENING OF MEDIUMSHIP WITH BARBARA ALMOND

September meeting was such fun, so much laughter. Spirit must have been as happy as we were. This was due to our lovely Medium Barbara Almond. She really does work so hard for spirit and her messages were so very accurate, when a medium visits MSDC as excellent as Barbara, we wish that everyone but everyone could be there with us, joining in with the wonderful time we all had and sharing the experience. After each message Barbara kindly gave each recipient a crystal, properties of which she thought would give them some benefit. Strength to get through a difficult time they may have been having or to help sleep better. Crystals have such power. If you come to our monthly meetings we have a wonderful collection of crystals for sale and at very reasonable prices. Barbara Almond does have her own website and she will give private readings, so if you came last night and feel that you would like a message from spirit I am sure you would not be disappointed with a private sitting with Barbara. August Report

This month our platform Medium was Janet Wilson. We all know Janet for the wonderful work she does tirelessly for Maidstone Spiritual Development Centre. She gives her time freely and often. Janet gives Healing and Meditation on Saturday mornings at Tovil Working Men’s Club. Anyone is very welcome so if you are interested please contact MSDC.

On Wednesday 11th August, as usual, we had a good number of Friends and Visitors and the meeting was well attended. Janet gave some wonderful information to many, one lady was very happy to hear of her trip in an air balloon she had taken recently which really was great confirmation for her from spirit that she was not alone when she went up, up and away, and that her family was with her. It is the smallest of details sometimes that give the biggest confirmation and surge of happiness when we hear them. Many visitors that evening went away happier than when they came in. Thank you Janet for all you do for MSDC.

Report on Event - An Evening of Mediumship with Janice Brook, July 2010

The Meeting in July was another great evening! Although it is holiday time for many, and the weather has been so beautiful this month, the meeting was very well attended and, no wonder, as our Medium was our very favourite Janice Brook

As usual, Janice was her very funny and entertaining self with her own stories padding out her Evening of Mediumship. Janice would emphasise though that although she laughs and jokes during her evening, she takes her gift very seriously indeed and it is no light or frivolous matter that she is the messenger or link between spirit and we earthlings. She gave some wonderful detailed evidence, some so insignificant to the audience, but so meaningful to the recipient, only small personal details that only they would know, and, of course, this is always the best evidence of all.

We truly look forward to her next visit with M.S.D.C. and thank her once again for visiting with us.

Report on Event - An Evening of Mediumship with Darren Brittain, June 2010

Darren Brittain was with us in June, and what a wonderful evening we had with him ! He always brings a packed meeting of M.S.D.C. friends and guests, and this night was no exception. He is such a brilliant Medium and his messages leave you in no doubt of the After Life. Darren's detailed messages, giving family, town and county names are certainly very reassuring. He gave us all a wonderful explanation of how he personally works, as all Mediums have a different approach to their gift.

If you would like to meet Darren again, Darren and Marlene Woolgar, who have both been with us this year individually, are sharing the platform on Saturday 4th September 2010 at Madginford Hall. They are also holding a workshop the following day, Sunday 5th, for you individually to experiment with your psychic and mediumistic abilities, teaching you how to enhance linking with spirit. Should you be interested, early booking is recommended for both events.

Thankyou Darren for visiting with us again, and we look forward very much to seeing you in September.

What a special monthly meeting we had in May! We were fortunate enough to have Ronnie Buckingham with us again, after his visit with us last year. Ronnie is a wonderful Medium who gives such excellent information in a different way. Because everyone there would have liked a message from spirit via Ronnie, to make the chances fair for everybody, each person present was given a raffle ticket as they came through the door. When starting his presentation Ronnie picked a ticket from the hat, and the lucky person who had the ticket was asked who they wished to speak with. Ronnie then connected to their named spirit, friend or relative, even as distant as a great uncle he managed to link with. It is amazing that this can be done, a truly individual type of mediumship. It is not his usual way or working, but he does it when he comes to Maidstone especially for MSDC as he knows we like this form of mediumship. Ronnie will be back again next year, so if you would be interested to see him work in this special way, please look out in our 2011 programme of events. Thank you Ronnie for making the journey to come and visit with us again and for a wonderful evening, we love our time with you. We are really settling down in our new venue at Madginford Hall now, it is a very pleasant place to have our meetings, and we look forward to meeting many friends again on June 9th when we have Darren Brittain with us. Darren will again, give us a wonderful evening as he is another of our favourite mediums.

REPORT ON THE MEETING ON WEDNESDAY 14TH APRIL 2010

Maidstone Spiritual Development Centre is now settling into our new venue, Madginford Hall. April’s monthly meeting proved that point with a large audience awaiting an amazing and fun evening with Marcus Cinganelli. No one was disappointed. Marcus was very entertaining and funny, but more importantly, gave some wonderful messages and very detailed information from spirit.
When Marcus is working, he invariably goes straight to the person who will receive the message. During the evening while demonstrating one message, he was often interrupted my another spirit with a message for somebody else, and sometimes had to go to the other side of the room to another recipient, and then return to where he was, but this is his unique way of working, and in some ways, more complex and difficult than just staying with one person, as when he returns to his initial recipient, threads of the previous message from spirit have to be remembered or channelled again. Truly amazing. It really was a very enjoyable evening, and it was great to see Marcus again. We look forward to the next time that he is able to spend the evening with MSDC. Thank you Marcus.

Wednesday, 10th March 2010, our second monthly meeting at Madginford Hall, and we are pleased to say that our Medium, Psychic Artist, Debbie Dean, demonstrated to a full house.
For all those people who have not seen Debbie before, she always gives a very entertaining evening with a unique kind of clairvoyance. After Debbie connects with spirit and gives a very accurate message, she then, after a few seconds of concentration, connects with spirit and lets them take over her hand and mind and then she draws either the spirit she has already spoken with, or someone connected to them. Her hands do not leave the paper as she draws the face fast and furiously, and within a few minutes has a picture that usually can be recognised by the participant in the audience who has just received the message. This type of mediumship is fascinating to watch and it is a rare gift. Debbie is so funny also and very entertaining. She says that she cannot draw at all, which means her pictures of faces, truly come through spirit. One connection this night was a young soldier who died in recent conflict, within the last 2/3 years. She then mentioned that sometime in the future she is working an evening for “Help the Heroes” which is a very worthwhile cause, so thank you Debbie. We look forward very much to your next visit with us at MSDC.

Here we are 2010 already, does it seem ten years since The Millennium?
A New Year in a new Meeting place, Madginford Hall, Bearsted. I am sure that The Maidstone Spiritual Development Centre will be very happy at the new venue. Madginford Hall is bright, warm and comfortable with full amenities, so we hope many of you will come to visit as often as possible during the coming year.

Our first monthly meeting was with our own happy, cheerful and vibrant Medium, Cheryl Ennis. As usual she did not disappoint. She hops from one to another in the audience, bringing messages fast and funnily with accuracy and her usual giggles. Cheryl, we love you and wish you all the happiness you deserve in this coming year.

Wednesday March 10th is our next meeting and we have with us Debbie Dean, Clairvoyant and Psychic Artist. Debbie often works with Tony Stockwell and has been seen with him on some of his TV shows. Please come and join us. It starts at 8pm and finishes at 10pm. Entrance is £5 for Friends of MSDC and £7 for others which includes tea, coffee and biscuits in the break. Pay at the door.

The monthly meeting for October was great fun as we had with us Janice Brook and as always her right hand Sandra, who works fast and diligently writing all the brilliant messages that Janice gives. As usual Janice was a bundle of fun, such energy she gives to her work, it was wonderful. Names, places and such detailed pieces of information for the receiver, that there is no doubt whatsoever who the recipient is. For example, “a chip in Mum’s favourite ornament that was thought to have been a secret”, but of course Mum knew about it all the time! We cannot have secrets from spirit can we? Everyone was so pleased with their messages and they went away very happy. Janice herself gets great pleasure as a Medium and therefore hopes that her audience does also. Yes Janice, we get great pleasure at having you with us, and await eagerly your next visit. Let us make sure that it is not as long as last time as you believed it has been a year since your last came to MSDC.

November’s monthly meeting was very special as we were fortunate enough to have with us the excellent Medium Darren Brittain. Darren is always a favourite and the meeting is always full to capacity, and as usual he did not fail to inspire us all with amazing detailed information from spirit. Darren has been a Medium for nineteen years now. One of his aims is to tell as many people as possible who will listen, that there is life after death, but also knowing that people will believe what they want to believe, and that is also ok. Darren’s messages were wonderful. The information he gave was so correct, even down to street and town names, let alone the personal information describing details of the family members and friends who have passed over. Darren also has a great sense of humour which always makes for a special evening. Just want to say Darren, many, many thanks for being with us again, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2010 with great anticipation.

What a great evening we had last night at MSDC’s monthly meeting at Maplesden Noakes. We were fortunate enough to have Mary Smith as our visiting Medium. Mary comes from a family of natural psychics and discovered her “Gift” as a child. She then went on to develop her gift and trained for many years to obtain the high standard that we saw last night. Mary is a vibrant, enthusiastic Medium who laughs while delivering her messages and she was a joy to see. She was very accurate giving many, many names which always makes the receiver very happy. The time went so very fast when she was delivering her messages, which proved what a good evening we had. The hall was packed with many new faces, so welcome to all those who came for the first time. Thank you Mary for visiting with us and we look forward very much to having you with us again.

This month’s meeting we were very fortunate to have with us Debbie Dean. Debbie is a Spirit Portrait Artist. She is very accurate and very funny in her communications with spirit and the audience. Debbie says that she, and these were exact words, “cannot draw for toffee” – what a strange English phrase that is too – but once Spirit take over control of the charcoal in her hand (her pictures are in black and white), the images of people just take shape. She just has to take up the charcoal and trust that this will happen, and it usually does. Sometimes the picture image is not of the Spirit to whom she is speaking, but there can be a connection somewhere, relative, friend or neighbour for example. So this means she is talking to one spirit and drawing another, but for the same receiver. It is the message which is important and not the picture, and some of Debbie’s information was explicit both with description of spirit and personal information. Her presentation is always very funny which always adds another dimension to a good evening of clairvoyance. So Debbie, MSDC thank you very much for joining with us and we look forward to meeting with you again in the future.

For our last monthly meeting in June, James Byrne should have been with us having to travel from the north of England. Unfortunately James was not at all well and had to cancel due to his own ill health.
So we have to thank our very own “ever ready to assist when need be”, Janet Wilson. As you may know, Janet has been a Medium for many years now. She is on the MSDC Committee and assists in so many ways. On some Saturdays at Tovil Working Mens Club Janet holds a Healing and Meditation morning. All are welcome to come along 10 – 11am and there is no charge. Janet also gives us our Meditation at our special Christmas monthly meetings. Janet is an experienced Medium and besides helping us out this month, she gave some wonderful information to many present. It is not any easy task to do rostrum and Janet did superbly well at such very short notice. Thank you Janet. Hope to see you July 8th when Debbie Dean, clairvoyant artist is with us.

Our visiting Medium for May was Barbara Almond from Faversham. Barbara spoke to a packed hall who were very welcoming as she is a very jovial and happy person and makes people laugh continually. Barbara is also a Reverend so besides her clairvoyance she has many other duties to perform such as marriages and funerals.

Barbara started the evening by saying that she often makes a spirit connection earlier in the day if she has an evening performance. Early this day there was a man insistent to find his wife, and Barbara managed to find the recipient. Sometimes she said spirit are really persistent to make early contact when they know she will be in contact with their loved one later in the day. Fortunately the link was made and one lady in the audience was very happy. Barbara’s evidence was amazingly correct. Names of people, places and events which mean a real connection to the recipient.

The second half of the evening Barbara did clairvoyance through colour which is quite new to her, really interesting and quite lovely. She took two coloured feathers from a bag and then went to a lady wearing similar colours. All colours represent an emotion or need. .ie blue/purple – healing, green – emotion, pink – love and kindness, red - strength. Even a black feather was good meaning a new beginning. So the people who were given the reading with the coloured feathers, needed the same colours for some reason in their lives at this time. She picked out baby pink and baby blue feathers and then went to a lady who had six children! Very accurate.

A very enjoyable evening was had by all, so thank you again Barbara for visiting with the Maidstone Spiritual Development Group.

This meeting was an extremely interesting event which really held the audience’s attention and there were many positive comments, gasps of incredulity and spontaneous questions as Ron worked through his DVD. Ron, who is a medium, even though he’s not sure he is (!!) is able to pick up on energy and can go to any building or site and sense when spirit is around. He takes photos all the time of the area in which he is sensing energy and when he later looks at the photos, he frequently gets “spirit” shapes or orbs. These shapes are mostly quite obviously spirit people from bygone times and places. This may sound incredible but actually the shots we were shown on the DVD were all genuine. Ron told us where and when they were taken and the circumstances under which he was working at the time and what he was sensing and feeling.

Ron is a genuine, self-effacing man who works as an Alarm Engineer in the day and does his Spirit Photography work in his spare time. Ron has written a book with Christina M Schumacher called “A Gift of Spirit” which features much more information than is mentioned in this Report and many of Ron’s excellent photos.

Many people in the audience brought along their photos showing orbs and spirit lights which proves that there is a lot of Spirit activity coming through now in photography and we need to learn more and take notice of this phenomenon.

This was a brilliant evening – don’t miss your chance to look and learn when Ron Bowers comes to M.S.D.C. again. MSDC monthly meeting on 11th March was extra special. Two wonderful ladies, full of energy and colour. Jan Linch and Nessa Harrison gave us a wonderful evening of Colour and Clairvoyance. Colours may be more significant in our lives than some of us realise, as we were due to find out in the course of the evening.

Jan works scientifically feeling emotions through colour: ie “feeling blue”, “in the pink”, “seeing red”, “yellow belly”. We use these expressions about colours all the time, and we know the emotion that goes with each colour automatically. All colours heal and each colour has a negative and positive emotion for us. For one colour’s example, yellow means upliftment which is just what we need after a long winter, hence the universe gives us daffodils and primroses to uplift us after a long winter. We can wear the right colour clothes, or eat the right colour foods which will automatically help us balance ourselves and give us the positive that is needed from any special colour. It truly is a very complex and scientific area, but most fascinating.

Jan and Nessa together went through all the colours giving details of their negatives and positives and how and why at special times we are drawn to a certain colour instinctively. They also gave colour clairvoyant reading to a few lucky people in the audience. It really was a great evening and I do hope that it is not too long before they come back again. We thank them both most sincerely.

Report on the February Meeting of Maidstone Spiritual Development Centre

February monthly meeting was one with a difference and thoroughly interesting and enjoyable. We had three mediums each with different talents. Robin Lown is a Palmist, Caroline Small is also a Colour Practitioner and Grant Colyer, Medium, replaced Michael Kingscote who was unfortunately unable to be present. They all worked together and the pace of the evening was very fast.

Robin erected a screen so that peoples hands/palms could be shown magnified through a projectors (but one with superior capabilities) when placed under its lens. Our hands are all individual, not only the fingerprints. They tell so much about each and everyone of us, about personalities and traits. So complex that there are 54 bones in a hand, and 18m of nerve fibres in one finger! No wonder they hurt if trapped in a door! Caroline ask everyone to imagine a colour trapped in our cupped hands and then place the colour on our body. She then went to some people in the audience and asked them what colour they had chosen, and then she gave a physic reading as to why they had chosen that colour.
Grant then gave clairvoyant/spiritual readings to some lucky people who received correct information and evidence, but told with a hint of humour, which is as it should be. The audience was then told that 4 people had a tarot card under their seat. This meant that they had been chosen by Caroline for a reading, but again she first asked the colour they had chosen earlier in the evening. To finish the evening off, 7 members of the audience were asked to put their hands under the screen. In turn, and by all 3 Mediums together, the individuals were told some of their own personal characteristics, and given a clairvoyant and spiritual message. A really, very, very interesting evening. Problem was, the evening was not long enough!

January's monthly Meeting

- as with all other monthly Meetings at Maplesden Noakes School - started at the earlier time of 7.30pm and not 8pm.

We had good attendance for our own Paul Lawson who now lives locally in Kent. Paul is such a gentle and quietly spoken Medium, but has the wonderful ability to lighten his informative and accurate messages with little jokes and his infectious laugh. He truly is a very good medium and we are so lucky to have him back living in this area so we can see more of him. If you did not manage to come last month, please look out for Paul Lawson next time that he is visiting Maidstone Spiritual Development Centre and come along. Living locally Paul will give Private readings should anyone require one and he has always been very kind to step in as a reserve Medium if the MSDC have a visitng Medium who cannot make it at the last minute. For this we are truly grateful.

This month was our Christmas meeting and it was lovely, giving us all hopefully a taste of the Festive time that is a ahead of us.

We had a full capacity audience which is always great. Our Medium was Cheryl Ennis, who as normal was giggly, cheerful, funny and fast with her information jumping from one person to another giving love and messages to many. We truly thank her for coming every year on this special Christmas evening.

At half time we all enjoyed mince pies and nibbles and many bought candles to light to remember family and friends during the lovely meditation that Janet did for us. Thank you Janet as we know you have not been feeling too well of late.

The meeting was friendly and cheery with everyone present getting into the Christmas spirit.

It has been another excellent year for MSDC and we hope that all our Members have enjoyed all their times with us. This if course would not be possible without Marian who does so much hard work for us and who can never be thanked enough. She of course has the help of a dedicated Committee who also give their time voluntarily. Thanks to each and everyone, and to all our Members and visitors. Please keep coming because without you there would be no Maidstone Spiritual Development Centre. Please read the 2009 Programme January to June. It is full of excellent meetings and events and we hope to see many of you again next year.

Unfortunately James Byrne was unable to be with us for our monthly meeting because one of his children was sick, and as he comes a very long way to be with us, this is very understandable. Fortunately, Karen Willis came to our aid at the last minute. Karen has to come from Gatwick, so she bravely fought the M25 traffic! Karen started by telling us a true spiritual story involving children, the moral being that we, as adults, must never underestimate how naturally and easily children see spirit and take that as normal. We must always encourage them whenever possible to tell us, and speak to them about what they see and never dismiss incidents which to them are real, such as “imaginary friends”. I believe there are many children today being born with a very high spiritual level and that can only be a good thing.

When Karen started her clairvoyance she knew exactly where she wanted to go to give a message. Her information was excellent and she feels she is an ambassador for Spirit which is lovely. She asked for three questions from the floor and gave the advice that if anyone of us need an answer to a question or problem, before going to sleep or when you are in peace and quiet, ask Spirit the question and when the time is right you will get the answer. Seems good advice to me. Thank you Karen for a lovely evening and we hope to see you again very soon.

Wednesday 7^th October 2008 monthly meeting MSDC.

This month we were extremely fortunate to have as our Medium, Ronnie Buckingham. I have to say that Ronnie is a brilliant Medium and if you were not fortunate enough to be with us last month, you missed a treat.

Ronnie works in a very special way. His evening goes like this:- when you buy your entrance ticket for the night, you are given one raffle ticket. Everyone’s raffle ticket goes into a bowl and when Ronnie starts his clairvoyance, he draws one ticket. The fortunate person who has the ticket drawn tells Ronnie who they would like to speak with in spirit. Every time Ronnie connected with spirit during the evening for family members or friends to come through, he was successful. Ronnie described the individual’s physical characteristics and details of their lives, so the receiver was sure and such personal details it was unbelievable. It was a wonderful evening.

Ronnie is having a new website developed for him and this should be available shortly. I guess that will be as interesting as Ronnie is himself. Personally I cannot wait for him to come again.

REPORT ON SEPTEMBER'S MEETING. AN EVENING OF CLAIRVOYANCE WITH MEDIUM, DARREN BRITTAIN.

We apologise for the change in Septembers Meeting Programme, but unfortunately James Byrne was unable to get to Maidstone, but we look forward to him visiting with us again as soon as possible. So we have to give Darren Brittain a very big and special thankyou for coming to give us yet another great evening. Darren's mediumship is so detailed, accurate and quite honestly, outstanding. Names of people, streets, towns and events fall from his tongue as he speaks with spirit he makes contact with, it seems so effortless, though I doubt if that is so. Darren has been a medium for over 20 years now and his work has taken him to many countries of the world, which shows how very fortunate we were to have him come to Maidstone to MSDC. She works at the S.A.G.B. in London as well as other places. Janice brings through such wonderful evidence from the Spirit World, but does it with such humour they must be laughing with us in Heaven! She keeps amusing quips interspersed with excellent mediumship all evening. She started each message with the most peculiar item or information, batty dogs, fear of frogs, Donald Duck Voice, all of which were so definite she was able to find exactly who the message was for in the audience. She gave names of streets, towns, counties, in fact we went all over the country that Wednesday evening. Janice, thankyou so much for visiting with us here in Maidstone again, and we can't wait to see you and Sandra again. We also thank Sandra for sitting and writing longhand the messages for every individual who was fortunate enough to receive one that evening.

This month we had a wonderful meeting, full of excellent clairvoyance and much laughter. For the first time Barbara Almond - originally from Essex now living in Kent - joined MSDC as our platform Medium, and we would like her to come back to us again as soon as possible !
Barbara has a "serious" side as she told us, she is a Reverend and takes Weddings and Funerals, also Investigations. She teaches over Europe about Spirit.
She is full of laughter and believes Spirit likes this approach, and as we all know, laughter lifts energy. Barbara knew where about she was being asked to go in the room, and her detailed information with Christian names, surnames, towns and places was excellent.
After giving one lady a reading whose Mother came through and told her daughter that she knew she was sleep walking, Barbara gave her an amethyst to help her sleep better. Another lady in the audience received a rose quartz to help her love herself more and be able to live without worrying, and another lady had a piece of clear quartz to help her study. This was a lovely and generous action and we are sure will help greatly those who received the crystals. We were also joined with spirit animals. A yellow corn snake, an iguana with a bit of it's tail missing. The last detailed piece of information Barbara received was several dogs, all with hats on around a table having a party! Believe it or not this led her directly to a lady who had a picture of this scene that was on her late Father's wall at home. Isn't it strange just how Spirit manage to get through to who they want to contact.
A great evening was had by all and we want Barbara to come back and visit with us again as soon as possible. Thankyou Barbara for a fun evening.

What fun May's meeting was! James Byrne really is a great Medium, but his droll sense of humour always gives the meeting extra warmth and depth. His Mediumship is really excellent and he gives such detailed information he is unbelievable. In fact his messages were outstanding, and this when he had driven all the way from Liverpool and also given six individual readings. He then worked all the way through for nearly two hours and then drove all the way home! All this and he was not feeling too well, so we have to give Jame's an extra special thankyou for coming to visit with us in May. The hall was packed to capacity which just proves how popular James is. After giving some marvellous readings James then told us some true stories and events that happened with spirit when at one time in his life, he decided to stop being a Medium for awhile. Some of these events and spirit sightings giving him such proof of spirit made him decide that spirit were telling him not to "retire" as they needed him to continue with his spiritual work to help people who need him and his support. We can only imagine how hard it is to serve spirit when the call on your time is so great, so James, we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to your coming to see us all again in the future.

April Report

Wednesday, 9th April 2008, monthly meeting, we were fortunate to have with us our own "home grown", tried, tested and trusted Medium, Paul Lawson. What a treat it was too. Paul was his usual cheery, jovial self, bubbling with enthusiasm as usual. It is absolutely great to have him and Lisa back within our community after spending awhile away from Kent, and too far away to visit easily. I know they are both glad to be back in Kent and are working hard to build a new life here. Welcome back to them both from The MSDC.

There was a good turnout at the meeting, about 70 people. Paul gave many accurate readings to members of the audience, to whom he gave clear, thoughtful and happy messages with his positive approach to mediumship.
I am sure our Members and Visitors who were at the meeting went home feeling the better for being with him, so thank you Paul once again, from all of us, and carry on with your Spiritual work as it is surely the way that your life was intended as all who know you would confirm. Thank you.

March Wednesday 12th MSDC meeting.

Our monthly meeting in March started a little differently because our Medium Michael Redwin requested working straight through without a break, so we began the evening with teas and coffees all round !! Michael then worked very hard straight through the rest of the evening until the raffle at 10pm.

Michael is such a gentle person, and a very good clairvoyant. With his quietly spoken manner and very kind personality, he gave many people really accurate evidence which was accepted with gratitude and almost amazement because of the sincere way in which he delivered the message. His information was excellent and correct, and as I have already said, taken to heart by the audience because of the smiles he also gave to everyone, continuously. Nearly everyone had a short message which in itself speaks for how hard he worked .

We thank him for a lovely evening and look forward to him coming back to visit MSDC again in the future,this time to run a workshop entitled Past Lives, Future Lives, Present Lives. This month we were very fortunate to have a new medium speaking to MSDC, Marcus Cinganelli. I hope that he will visit with our group many more times in the future as he gave us all a very entertaining evening.
The hall was packed to capacity, we even had to get out more chairs!
Marcus worked in a specific and unusual way. He would be given a name, psychically or spiritually, point to the area in which he felt drawn and there the named person was sitting! He then gave information past, present or future pertinent only to them. His messages were so very accurate. His manner was very jovial and entertaining and he gave us many laughs. Why should spiritualism and clairvoyance be serious? If we laugh, we raise the energy in the room and we all know this helps contact from spirit.
Marcus performs all around Kent in halls and clubs. He holds a Psychic Cafe night once a month in West Malling. The next two dates for this event are 27th February and 26th March 2008. Contact tel no is 01634 242910.
At the end of the meeting Marcus drew the raffle and as an extra prize he gave a private reading with himself. I am very pleased to say that Marian Reader, who works so very, very hard for MSDC won the prize.

Our monthly meeting on Wednesday 9th January 2008 was well attended as usual. Our Mediums were Janet Wilson, an excellent Medium who has been with the MSDC for many years, is an MSDC Committee Member, runs the wonderful Meditation and Healing Group teaching on Saturdays and always willingly stands in if ever there is a crisis. We cannot thank her enough. On the other hand, our other Medium was Trudi Beavan who stood up for the very first time on platform although she has been doing private readings and spiritual work for several years. She overcame her understandable nervousness and gave great descriptive evidence for many members of the audience. We are sure that this was the first of many times that Trudi will do platform work and we wish her well for her future. Remember her name – she will certainly be well known in time to come.

We thank Janet and Trudi for a wonderful evening of clairvoyance and the excellent messages and also a big thank you to all Members and non Members who attended, as without you there is no meeting.
